Happy Anniversary . . .

The Christmas break was so busy this year that we didn't really get a chance to celebrate our big three year anniversary! Every year we've gone back to The Blue Boar Inn in Midway to celebrate our anniversary. It's great. The inn is wonderful and the food is amazing everytime. This year we decided to forego the night stay and just went up for breakfast. Delicious as always. The drive to Midway can be pretty scary in the snow, but we'll go back every year!

Attacking the Sweet Potatoes!

Recently, Ainslie decided that we do a pretty good job of getting the food into her mouth when we're trying to feed her. This is nice because it means that mealtimes are significantly less messy these days. We posted a few pictures before, but here's a taste of what we were dealing with back when she still insisted on doing it herself:

But, messy as she gets sometimes, she always cleans up nicely with a little bath . . .

Ainslie the Lion Cub

What a Break!

And a month flies by . . . So much has happened in the last month, that it's hard to know where to start.

We lived through finals. It seemed like it was going to be close at times, but we're pretty confident that neither of us failed any classes. Josh finished up before Janae, so he and Ainslie spent a bunch of time driving around looking for the best Christmas lights in Provo while Janae was stuck at home reading.

They also took a few drives up the canyon to admire all of the snow that came during the break.
Christmas came and went in a flash, but we loved having the time off from school and being able to spend so much time with all of our family.
Ainslie didn't really understand what the presents were all about, but she liked ripping the paper off of everyone else's presents. And, she got some great stuff of her own too! We all felt very loved during the holidays.

This beanie wasn't a present for Ainslie or Janae, but Ainslie seemed to think Aunt Breezy's craftsmanship was stunning!
We had lots of fun snowmobiling with all of the Webbs and Hyatts at Strawberry reservoir even though the two of us managed to lose a snowmobile on top of the mountain. When we went back up to dig it out of the snow, we ended up finding someone else's abandoned snowmobile and brought that one back without realizing it wasn't ours.
The tail end of the break from school was full of spending more time with family, losing snowmobiles on the tops of mountains, buying books for upcoming classes, and finishing up Josh's moot court brief. But, even with all of the craziness, we were able to sneak in a day of skiing/snowboarding up at Sundance while Josh's sister watched Ainslie. Thanks Breezy!

The break was great, but way too short. The new year promises to be every bit as busy as the last, but we're excited for all that lies ahead!
