This morning Ainslie surprised Josh with the declaration that the movie "Cars" is her "favorite." Every day we're surprised with her new words and emerging personality. To go along with today's new word, here are a few of Ainslie's current favorites.
Ainslie loves to color. Whether it's a crayon, her magic markers, or the magnetic doodle pad, she loves it when people sit down and color with her.
Ainslie is also pretty crazy about shoes lately. She's been very reluctant to give up some of her old shoes (ones that are way too small), but the other day, she went for a pair of Janae's shoes.
Ainslie also loves to sing these days. We have a pretty solid group of primary songs and nursery rhymes that we go through just about every day. This is a recent rendition of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star:
